CSL405

CSL405 is an investigational, cell-based influenza A (H2N3) vaccine being developed by CSL Behring as a pre-pandemic or pandemic preparedness candidate for protection against influenza A virus infections caused by H2N3 strains. As a cell culture–derived influenza vaccine, it functions as an immunostimulant, presenting inactivated or antigenic viral components to the immune system to elicit strain-specific and cross-reactive humoral and cellular immune responses that may confer protection against infection and disease.
