Overview

CSL730 (also known as M230) is a novel recombinant trivalent human IgG1 Fc multimer developed by CSL Behring and Momenta Pharmaceuticals. It acts as an immunomodulator by targeting Fc gamma receptor (FcγRs), functioning as an Fc receptor modulator. The drug was designed to provide high potency in modulating immune responses, with the aim of serving as a substitute for intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) therapy at lower doses. Its primary indications included autoimmune disorders such as idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura and skin disorders like epidermolysis bullosa. Development has been discontinued for these indications[1][3][5][7].
