Overview

CSL787 is a nebulized human plasma-derived polyvalent immunoglobulin G (IgG) product administered via inhalation of an aerosol produced using a nebulizer. It contains approximately 250 mmol/L of L-proline as a stabilizer and trace amounts of sodium. The drug is designed for the potential prevention of chronic respiratory tract infections and progression of chronic lung disease such as Non-Cystic Fibrosis Bronchiectasis (NCFB). It aims to increase immune defense in patients with recurrent respiratory infections by targeting antibodies directly into the lungs, potentially decreasing infection frequency and disease exacerbations.
