Overview

CSTC1 is a small molecule drug developed by Charsire Biotechnology for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. It is extracted from the vapor fraction of an unspecified source and is classified as a phytotherapy. The drug acts primarily as an interleukin 1 beta inhibitor and platelet-derived growth factor stimulant, targeting inflammation and promoting tissue repair in chronic wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers. Clinical development has reached Phase II in both the USA and Taiwan, with plans for Phase III trials underway. In addition to its primary indication for diabetic foot ulcer, CSTC1 has also been investigated for potential use in Alzheimer's disease and vascular dementia[1][2].
