Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CT-003 is a 15 kDa llama-derived nanobody therapeutic being developed by Coagulant Therapeutics. It is designed to target both Activated Protein C (APC) and Protease-activated receptor 1 (PAR1) to modulate coagulation and endothelial responses. By binding to the exosite (non-active site) of APC, CT-003 selectively regulates the protein's anticoagulant and cytoprotective activities. This dual-targeting mechanism aims to restore hemostasis and provide endothelial protection in patients suffering from acute conditions such as trauma-induced coagulopathy, hemophilia, and endotheliopathy. The drug is currently in Phase 1 development.
