Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CT-02 is a broad-spectrum, dual-modal inhalation therapeutic developed by Celestial Therapeutics for the treatment of respiratory viral infections. It is characterized as a first-in-class therapeutic that combines antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties within a single treatment, aiming to inhibit viral replication while simultaneously mitigating the inflammatory response in the lungs. Designed to target a range of viruses including Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), Influenza Virus, and Rhinoviruses, CT-02 is also being explored for the treatment of Hepatitis C and viral myocarditis. The drug is currently in the preclinical stage of development and is administered via inhalation to directly target lung infections.
