Overview

CT-1 eTIL is an investigational **autologous engineered tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte cell therapy** being developed by KSQ Therapeutics for refractory solid tumors. It consists of a patient's own tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes that are expanded ex vivo and edited with **CRISPR/Cas9** to inactivate **CT-1**, a KSQ-discovered target reported to enhance T-cell function for adoptive cell therapy. Preclinical disclosures describe CT-1 as a gene whose loss can increase T-cell expansion, cytokine production, persistence, and anti-tumor activity, positioning CT-1 eTIL as an **immunotherapy and cell therapy** intended to improve the potency of TIL treatment in solid tumors. Publicly available information appears to relate primarily to the preclinical program code **KSQ-001**; subsequent clinical development appears to have focused on the related SOCS1-edited program KSQ-001EX rather than CT-1 eTIL itself.
