CT-1530 is a small molecule inhibitor of Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK), also known as Bruton agammaglobulinemia tyrosine kinase. It was developed for the treatment of B-cell malignancies, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL), Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia, mantle cell lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and follicular lymphoma. The drug acts by irreversibly and selectively inhibiting BTK, thereby blocking B-cell receptor signaling pathways that are critical for the survival and proliferation of malignant B cells. This mechanism confers potential antineoplastic activity[1][3][4]. Development was led by Centaurus Biopharma with Xilintai Pharmaceutical as the originator[4]. Clinical development reached up to phase 2 trials in China but has since been discontinued for all major indications[3][4].
