Overview

CT0590 is an allogeneic, donor-derived CAR T-cell therapy developed by CARsgen. It utilizes the THANK-uCAR technology platform and is engineered to target both B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), commonly found on multiple myeloma cells, and NKG2A, a membrane protein expressed on natural killer (NK) and T cells. The product features a triple knockout of TRAC, B2M, and NKG2A genes to reduce the risk of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and immune rejection while enhancing immune function. CT0590 is being investigated for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) and primary plasma cell leukemia (RRpPCL). Early clinical data show manageable safety with deep and durable responses in heavily pretreated patients[1][2][3][4].
