Overview

CT103 is a preclinical-stage, selective small molecule kinase inhibitor designed for the topical treatment of inflammatory skin conditions, specifically psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. It was developed by Creabilis SA using its proprietary Low Systemic Exposure (LSE) technology, which aims to provide high local therapeutic concentrations within the skin while minimizing systemic absorption and potential off-target effects. The project involved collaborations with the University of Dundee, Serichim, and KWS Biotest, and was supported by EU FP7 funding. In 2016, Sienna Biopharmaceuticals acquired Creabilis and its pipeline, including CT103. However, development was effectively halted when Sienna Biopharmaceuticals filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and ceased operations in late 2019.
