Overview

CT1190B is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Tongji Hospital (Huazhong University of Science and Technology) for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The therapy involves genetically engineering a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically targets CD19, a protein found on the surface of most B-cell malignancies. Once re-infused into the patient following lymphodepletion, these modified T cells recognize and eliminate CD19-positive lymphoma cells. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial focusing on safety, efficacy, and cellular metabolism.
