Overview

CT1190B is an investigational allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy designed to simultaneously target CD19 and CD20 antigens on the surface of B-cells. Developed under the leadership of Aibin Liang, MD, Ph.D., this therapy is being evaluated for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. As an allogeneic therapy, CT1190B is manufactured using T-cells from healthy donors rather than the patient's own cells, potentially allowing for an "off-the-shelf" treatment approach. The dual-targeting strategy is intended to enhance efficacy and reduce the risk of relapse caused by antigen escape, a common limitation of single-target CAR-T therapies.
