Overview

CT11a1-ADC is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Nordic Bioscience that targets a tumor-specific epitope of type XI collagen. Type XI collagen is a marker of myofibroblastic cancer-associated fibroblasts (myCAFs), which contribute to the dense stromal barrier and increased tissue stiffness in fibrotic tumors like pancreatic cancer. By utilizing the CT11a1 antibody as a delivery vehicle for a cytotoxic payload, this therapeutic candidate aims to selectively eliminate myCAFs within the tumor microenvironment, potentially facilitating drug delivery and overcoming therapeutic resistance. The program is complemented by the PRO-C11 circulating biomarker for patient selection and monitoring.
