CT125B is a donor-derived CD5 CAR T cell therapy being investigated for the treatment of relapsed or refractory T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma. It works by targeting CD5, a surface antigen expressed on T-cells, enabling the engineered T-cells to recognize and attack malignant T-cells. The therapy involves collecting peripheral blood mononuclear cells from donors, engineering them to express a chimeric antigen receptor targeting CD5, and infusing these modified cells into patients after lymphodepletion with fludarabine and cyclophosphamide.
