Overview

CT2008 is a small molecule nitric oxide (NO) donor being developed by Channel Therapeutics, a subsidiary of Pelthos Therapeutics (LNHC), for the treatment of acute and chronic eye pain, as well as dry eye disease. It utilizes the proprietary NITRICIL™ technology platform, which involves nitric oxide-based chemistry to deliver therapeutic levels of NO to ocular tissues. The drug is designed to address the inflammatory and nociceptive components of ocular pain and dry eye symptoms. CT2008 is currently in late-stage clinical development, with pipeline data indicating progression through Phase 3 trials and preparation for regulatory filing; some sources indicate an NDA/BLA has been filed.
