CT303 is an allogeneic cell therapy product consisting of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from human tonsil tissue. Developed by GC Cell Corporation, CT303 is designed to treat inflammatory and autoimmune conditions by leveraging the immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory properties of MSCs. Tonsil-derived MSCs are reported to have superior proliferation rates and potent immunosuppressive capabilities compared to MSCs derived from bone marrow or adipose tissue. The therapy is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). By secreting various cytokines and growth factors, CT303 aims to suppress overactive immune responses and promote tissue repair and regeneration.
