Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CTA002 (also known as CTA-02) is an early-stage programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) inhibitor being developed by CTCELLS. It is currently in the discovery phase for the treatment of various neoplasms, as well as skin and musculoskeletal conditions. As a checkpoint inhibitor, CTA002 is designed to block the interaction between PD-L1, often expressed on the surface of tumor cells, and the PD-1 receptor on T cells. By inhibiting this pathway, the drug aims to prevent immune evasion by tumors and restore the ability of the immune system to recognize and eliminate malignant cells.
