Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CTA311 is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy targeting CD19, developed by Nanjing Bioheng Biotech (Bioheng Therapeutics). It is being developed for the treatment of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-cell ALL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. As a CAR-T cell therapy, CTA311 involves genetically engineering a patient's own or donor T cells to express a receptor that specifically recognizes and binds to the CD19 antigen present on malignant B cells. This enables targeted immune-mediated destruction of cancerous B cells. The drug is currently in preclinical development[1][2][4].
