CTC127 is a multi-engineered autologous T-cell receptor (TCR) engineered T-cell therapy being developed by Captain T Cell in collaboration with the Max Delbrück Center and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. The therapy consists of a patient's own T cells that have been genetically modified to express a specific TCR directed against the MAGE-A4 antigen presented in the context of HLA-A1. This engineering enables the T cells to recognize and eliminate MAGE-A4-positive tumor cells. CTC127 is currently being evaluated in the Phase 1 TOMATA study, a first-in-human investigator-initiated trial for patients with relapsed or refractory solid tumors that express the MAGE-A4 antigen.
