CTF50X

CTF50X is an allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy being developed by Imviva Biotech (formerly Bioheng Therapeutics) for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). It is engineered using the company's proprietary ANSWER® platform, which utilizes genetic modifications to minimize the risk of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and host-versus-graft (HvG) rejection. As an allogeneic "off-the-shelf" therapy, CTF50X is derived from healthy donor cells, aiming to overcome the logistical and manufacturing challenges associated with patient-specific autologous CAR-T treatments. The therapy targets a tumor-associated antigen (TAA) specific to AML, although the exact identity of the target remains undisclosed.
