Overview

CTH-401 EVs is a preclinical-stage extracellular vesicle (EV) therapeutic candidate developed by Cartherics. It is engineered to target Tumor-Associated Glycoprotein 72 (TAG-72), a cell-surface glycoprotein that is highly expressed in various adenocarcinomas, including ovarian cancer, as well as in endometriotic lesions. The therapeutic leverages the natural delivery and signaling properties of extracellular vesicles to provide a targeted biologic effect against TAG-72-positive tissues. As of 2025, the program is in preclinical development for the treatment of ovarian cancer and endometriosis.
