Overview

CTH-501 is an allogeneic, induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived natural killer (NK) cell therapy being developed by Cartherics. The therapy is engineered with a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) to target Tissue Factor (TF), a protein overexpressed in various solid tumors and endometriosis. Some versions of the program also target Tumor-Associated Glycoprotein 72 (TAG-72) and utilize gene knockout technology to enhance the therapeutic profile of the cells. CTH-501 is currently in the IND-enabling stage for the treatment of endometriosis and several solid malignancies, including ovarian, pancreatic, lung, and triple-negative breast cancers.
