The CTHRC1 CD3 engager antibody is a novel therapeutic antibody developed by Phenomic AI, leveraging its AI/ML platform for identifying drug targets within the tumor stroma. This bispecific antibody is designed to engage both Collagen triple helix repeat containing 1 (CTHRC1), a matrix protein highly expressed on cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) and tumor cells in various solid tumors, and the CD3 complex on T-cells. By bridging T-cells to CTHRC1-expressing cells, it aims to activate the T-cells and direct them to eliminate cancer cells, thereby overcoming the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. This approach targets challenging cancers, including ovarian cancer, triple-negative breast cancer, and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
