Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CTI-085 is an experimental cannabinoid-based ophthalmic therapy being developed as a topical formulation for the treatment of glaucoma. It consists of a proprietary combination of cannabinoids and non–cannabis-derived active ingredients, with the aim of lowering intraocular pressure and providing neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory benefits in the eye.[1][3][9] The program leverages InMed Pharmaceuticals’ cannabinoid drug design and a nanoparticle-based delivery system to enhance ocular penetration and controlled release, and is currently in preclinical development with plans for first-in-human evaluation.[9][13]
