Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CTL-X is an investigational, single-dose vaporized cannabis-derived formulation being developed by Veritas Pharma (through its research arm Cannevert Therapeutics) for the control of acute pain, with early studies evaluating its analgesic properties using a standardized vaporized challenge in healthy volunteers exposed to experimentally induced pain. The product is designed to deliver specific cannabinoid constituents via inhalation to modulate nociceptive pathways and pain perception, and is being tested in a randomized, double-blind, crossover Phase 1 clinical study to assess safety, tolerability, and analgesic efficacy relative to placebo in a controlled setting.[5][12]
