Overview

CTM-GDT is an allogeneic cell therapy product consisting of expanded gamma delta (γδ) T cells derived from healthy donors. Developed by CytoMed Therapeutics, the therapy leverages the unique properties of γδ T cells, which possess multiple antigen recognition systems and can recognize markers of cellular stress on cancer cells independent of HLA type. This enables them to target a broad range of cancers, including solid tumors and hematological malignancies. Unlike autologous therapies that use patient-derived cells, CTM-GDT provides an "off-the-shelf" source for consistent cytotoxic activity against tumors. The product is currently in preclinical and early clinical development for various cancer indications[1][3][4][5][6].
