CTM-MSC is an injectable allogeneic cell therapy candidate consisting of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from human umbilical cord tissue. Developed by CytoMed Therapeutics, the therapy is designed to treat cartilage injuries by utilizing the regenerative and immunomodulatory properties of MSCs. The treatment approach may also involve the use of CTM-MSC conditioned media, which contains a secretome of growth factors and cytokines that support tissue repair and reduce inflammation. In early 2024, CytoMed entered into a collaboration with Sengkang General Hospital in Singapore to advance the program through in vivo studies and into a Phase I clinical trial.
