Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CTN001 is a novel antineoplastic immunotherapy developed by Centenaire Biosciences. It is a monoclonal antibody designed as a Twin Fc-immune cell engager, targeting both HER2-positive and HER2-low cancers. The drug's mechanism of action involves engaging multiple Fc-mediated mechanisms, specifically binding to various Fcγ receptors on immune cells. This engagement leads to enhanced antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity (ADCC), antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP), and complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC), resulting in superior anti-tumor efficacy. CTN001 is currently in preclinical development for HER2-positive breast cancer and HER2-low cancers. It has received orphan drug status.
