Overview

CTS2016 is an orally administered small molecule inhibitor that targets both AXL and FLT3 kinases. It is being developed primarily for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and intermediate-to-high risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). The drug acts as a dual AXL and FLT3 inhibitor, aiming to disrupt signaling pathways involved in cancer cell proliferation and survival. Clinical trials are ongoing to evaluate its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary efficacy in these hematologic malignancies. There is also mention of potential development for certain solid tumors such as non-small cell lung cancer and triple-negative breast cancer[1][2][7].
