Overview

CTS2190 is an orally administered small molecule inhibitor targeting protein arginine N-methyltransferase 1 (PRMT1), developed by Cytosinlab Pharmaceutical Technology. PRMT1 is an enzyme involved in the methylation of arginine residues on histones and other proteins, playing a key role in gene expression regulation and cancer cell proliferation. By inhibiting PRMT1, CTS2190 aims to disrupt oncogenic signaling pathways, making it a potential targeted therapy for various solid tumors. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary anti-tumor activity in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors—including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), pancreatic cancer, and triple-negative breast cancer[1][2][5].
