Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CTX-10726 is a novel, tetravalent bispecific antibody that targets both programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A). It was discovered, engineered, and developed by Compass Therapeutics. The drug is designed to synergistically deliver VEGF-A blockade and immune checkpoint inhibition, aiming to enhance anti-tumor responses in solid tumors. Preclinical studies indicate that CTX-10726 demonstrates a highly stable structure with high-affinity target binding and exhibits several-fold more potent PD-1 blockade compared to other drugs in its class. The molecule utilizes a fully human glycosylated IgG1 backbone with silenced Fc-gamma receptor binding[1][4][5][6][8].
