Overview

CTX131 is an investigational, next-generation allogeneic CAR T cell therapy developed by CRISPR Therapeutics. It utilizes CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing technology to engineer healthy donor-derived T cells that express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting CD70, an antigen present on various solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. The product incorporates novel edits designed to enhance CAR T cell potency and reduce exhaustion. CTX131 is administered intravenously and is being evaluated in Phase I/II clinical trials for multiple cancers, including hematological malignancies (such as lymphomas and leukemias) and solid tumors.
