CTX3000 is a preclinical-stage genetic medicine being developed by Celosia Therapeutics for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. The therapeutic candidate targets the microtubule-associated protein tau (MAPT), which is a key pathological driver in Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative disorders. As a gene therapy, CTX3000 is designed to modulate tau expression or function to prevent or reduce the formation of neurofibrillary tangles, a hallmark of the disease.
