Overview

CU-10101 is a non-hormonal, small molecule drug developed for the topical treatment of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis. Unlike corticosteroids and calcineurin inhibitors, which are commonly used in this indication but can have significant side effects with long-term use, CU-10101 is designed to be applied directly to affected skin areas, potentially reducing systemic exposure and associated risks. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in both healthy volunteers and patients with atopic dermatitis. Its precise mechanism of action has not been disclosed as of now[2][3][4][7][8].
