Overview

Cui-Tang granules (also known as Cuitang granules) is a traditional Tibetan medicine (TTM) formulated as granules, derived from the classic Tibetan medicine Cui Tang Pills (Cuitang Wan), which has a history of clinical use spanning over 600 years. Developed by Tibet Cheezheng Tibetan Medicine and Gansu Cheezheng Tibetan Medicine, the formulation consists of five key ingredients: Extractum Inulae Racemosae (derived from Inula racemosa), Inulae Racemosae Radix, Rubi Caulis (Rubus saxatilis or Rubus biflorus stem), Tinosporae Sinensis Caulis (Tinospora sinensis stem), and Zingiberis Rhizoma (ginger). Cui-Tang granules are traditionally used to clear heat, relieve cough, and alleviate pain. It is primarily indicated for the prevention and treatment of influenza, common cold, and associated symptoms such as headache, cough, and joint pain. Additionally, Cui-Tang granules have been investigated and utilized for the treatment and symptom relief of COVID-19.
