Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cypress Allergy Molecular Immunotherapy (marketed as Cup a 1 MOL) is a molecular allergen immunotherapy developed by Diater (a subsidiary of Worg Pharmaceuticals) for the treatment of cypress pollen allergy and allergic rhinoconjunctivitis. The therapy consists of the purified native major allergen Cup a 1, isolated from Arizona cypress (*Cupressus arizonica*) pollen, which covers over 94% of cypress-allergic patients. Administered via subcutaneous injection, the immunotherapy is designed to induce immune tolerance by modifying allergen-specific T-cell and B-cell responses, thereby reducing allergic symptoms and medication reliance. It is approved and launched in several European countries, with clinical development and registration preparation ongoing in China.
