Overview

CUR204 is a microRNA (miRNA) therapeutic candidate currently in the discovery phase for the treatment of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Developed by the South Korean biotechnology company Curamys, the drug is designed to target specific disease-associated microRNAs that are implicated in the pathogenesis and progression of ALS. By modulating these miRNA levels, CUR204 aims to intervene in the molecular pathways responsible for motor neuron degeneration, potentially offering a novel approach to managing the underlying causes of the disease.
