Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Curasept Luxury Whitening is a cosmetic tooth whitening system developed by Curasept S.p.A. for the removal of tooth staining and enamel brightening. The product line includes several variants (Gold, White, and Black) that utilize a synergistic toothpaste-toothbrush approach. The formulation features Carbamide Peroxide and Peroxydone (a PVP-Hydrogen Peroxide complex) which release slow-release nascent oxygen to penetrate enamel prisms and oxidize tooth discolorations. To maintain dental health during the whitening process, the system incorporates Substituted Hydroxyapatite conjugated with Chitosan to provide remineralizing action and strengthen the enamel. Some variants also include Bioactive Carbon (activated charcoal) and colloidal gold or silver microbeads to enhance the aesthetic outcome. It is intended for at-home use in 20-day cycles.
