Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CURB-001 is a bispecific antibody developed by Currus Biologics as part of its proprietary BEAT (Bispecific Engagers of Antigen Presenting Cells and T cells) platform. It is designed to be used in combination with CURT-001, a FLAG-tagged autologous anti-mesothelin CAR T-cell therapy, in a combined regimen designated as CUR-001. CURB-001 simultaneously binds to professional antigen-presenting cells (APCs) via tuned CD40 agonism and to the CAR T-cells via their universal FLAG tag. This dual engagement activates and licenses the CAR T-cells within lymphoid tissues, promoting their expansion, persistence, and infiltration into solid tumors while mitigating the immunosuppressive effects of the tumor microenvironment. The CUR-001 program is currently in Phase 1 development for the treatment of mesothelin-positive advanced refractory solid tumors.
