Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Curodont Repair is a biomimetic dental treatment system designed for the non-invasive management of early carious lesions through Guided Enamel Regeneration. It contains a P11-4 peptide technology that diffuses into carious lesions within 5 minutes, forming a biomatrix that attracts calcium and phosphate ions from saliva. This leads to the formation of new hydroxyapatite crystals around the biomatrix, resulting in enamel regeneration and arresting caries progression. The product is specifically intended for dental professionals to treat "watch areas" - early, non-cavitated carious lesions that appear as white spots with rough but intact surfaces.
