Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cutegel MAX is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler containing lidocaine hydrochloride, developed for the aesthetic correction of moderate-to-severe nasolabial fold rhytides (wrinkles). It is formulated with 20 mg/mL of cross-linked HA and 3 mg/mL of lidocaine hydrochloride to enhance patient comfort during the injection process. The product functions by providing structural volume to the dermis, effectively filling wrinkles and folds. In a 52-week multicenter, randomized, double-blinded, active-controlled clinical trial conducted in China, Cutegel MAX demonstrated non-inferiority to Restylane, showing high response rates and sustained aesthetic effects for over 12 months. It is classified as a medical device/biologic filler used for volume restoration in the dermis.
