Cutisanol Gel

Cutisanol Gel is a topical dermatological combination product developed by the Brazilian pharmaceutical company Millet Roux. It contains bismuth subgallate (1.5 mg/g) and zinc oxide (45 mg/g) as its active ingredients. The formulation is specifically indicated for the prevention and treatment of diaper rash, heat rash (miliaria), skin irritations such as chafing, and solar erythema (sunburn). It functions through a protective and antiseptic mechanism, creating a physical barrier on the skin that shields it from contact with irritants like urine and feces while providing emollient, moisturizing, and soothing effects. Approved for both adult and pediatric use, Cutisanol Gel has been marketed in Brazil since 1940.
