Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cutivax is an implantable, bio-active subcutaneous immunotherapy platform designed as a biocompatible scaffold to sustain antigenic signaling in vivo. Developed by Bogazici University and Innoway R&D, the device consists of a fenestrated polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) scaffold enclosed within a semipermeable PTFE membrane and integrated with an injection port. When loaded with active tumor-derived cellular material, Cutivax acts as an in-situ immune-training platform, allowing the controlled diffusion of tumor-associated antigens, soluble mediators, and extracellular vesicles across its semipermeable membrane to stimulate a durable anti-tumor immune response while preventing whole-cell escape. It is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of solid tumors, including triple-negative breast cancer.
