CV-01

CV-01 is a novel, investigational oral small-molecule compound developed by Cureverse for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and other neurological disorders such as epilepsy. It acts by activating protective pathways regulated by the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) through modulation of the Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 (Keap1)/Nrf2 pathway, aiming to suppress neuroinflammatory reactions and provide disease-modifying effects in brain health disorders. CV-01 is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials in South Korea for Alzheimer's disease. Angelini Pharma has entered into an exclusive option agreement with Cureverse to lead global development and commercialization efforts outside of certain Asian territories[1][5][6][7][8].
