Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CV-03 is an experimental small molecule inhibitor targeting Discoidin Domain Receptor 1 (DDR1), currently under development by Cureverse for the treatment of kidney disease and fibrosis. DDR1 is a non-integrin collagen receptor tyrosine kinase that, upon activation by collagen, triggers signaling pathways involved in cell proliferation, adhesion, and the production of pro-inflammatory and pro-fibrotic mediators. By blocking DDR1 activity, CV-03 is designed to interrupt the cycle of collagen-induced damage and tissue scarring in the kidneys. The program is presently in the hit-to-lead stage of preclinical development.
