CV-19 virus-like particles is an investigational **virus-like particle vaccine** candidate for prevention of COVID-19. It was reported by TechnoVax in collaboration with the CUNY School of Medicine at The City College of New York as a SARS-CoV-2 VLP construct assembled in mammalian cell suspension culture from coronavirus structural elements and uniquely modified surface spike molecules. The particles are designed to mimic the native SARS-CoV-2 virion in size, morphology, and surface composition while lacking infectious genetic material, with the goal of presenting viral antigens in a highly immunogenic but non-replicating form.
