CV15

CV15 (also known as A01) is an investigational oncolytic adenovirus developed by Hangzhou Converd Co., Ltd. It is a genetically modified human adenovirus type 5 designed to selectively replicate in and destroy tumor cells while sparing normal tissue. The virus typically features deletions in the E1B region (specifically E1B-55K), allowing it to replicate preferentially in cells with p53 pathway deficiencies or other tumor-specific signaling alterations. CV15 is being studied primarily for advanced solid tumors, including gastrointestinal cancers, often in combination with immune cell therapies like IC01 (haploidentical natural killer cells) to enhance the anti-tumor immune response through immunogenic cell death and direct viral oncolysis.
