This combination aims to leverage multiple mechanisms—direct cytotoxicity from chemotherapy, antiangiogenic effects from bevacizumab, immune activation by the vaccine CV301, and checkpoint blockade by durvalumab—to enhance anti-tumor efficacy. It has been studied in clinical trials for advanced or metastatic cancers.
