Overview

CV9202 is a self-adjuvanting mRNA-based cancer vaccine designed to induce an immune response against non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It consists of six mRNAs encoding tumor-associated antigens commonly overexpressed in NSCLC, specifically NY-ESO-1, MAGEC1, MAGEC2, 5T4, survivin, and MUC1. The vaccine is administered intradermally and aims to stimulate both humoral and cellular immune responses against these antigens. Developed using CureVac's RNActive technology platform, CV9202 is being advanced by Boehringer Ingelheim in collaboration with CureVac, Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, and the Cancer Research Institute. Its primary indication is for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer as part of immunotherapy regimens.
