Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CVD-1301.LH03 is an oncolytic herpes simplex virus (HSV) therapy being developed by Hangzhou Converd Co., Ltd. for the treatment of cancer. Engineered using Converd's HSV-based oncolytic virus platform, the drug is designed to selectively infect and replicate within tumor cells, causing direct cell lysis (oncolysis). Beyond its direct cytolytic effects, CVD-1301.LH03 is engineered to function as an immuno-stimulator, promoting an inflammatory tumor microenvironment and activating a systemic anti-tumor immune response. As of the latest pipeline reports, the candidate is in the IND (Investigational New Drug) stage of development.
